Pigtails, Bird catchers and more...

Just a few random pictures...
After each meal, we set Addi next to the sink to clean her up, and now she has decided to use it as her drinking fountain...what a funny girl.

I can finally give Addi pigtails...wahoo! I think she looks so much older with them, it is exciting to see that she is growing, but hard to know that she will never be the tiny baby she used to be.

I made mashed potatoes for dinner the other day, and Addi loved licking off the beaters when I was finished.

Addi loves her glow worm...she calls it her baby and carries it around with her rocking it in her arms and giving it hugs.
This is another picture of our bird Cheerio...we hope it isn't the last. The bird catchers came today and caged up a lot of the birds by our pond. Jacob and I searched the truck with all the birds, but didn't see her, so hopefully she escaped. We will have to see if she comes to get her cheerios tomorrow. This probably sounds funny, but I will be soooo sad if she is gone. I have a ceratin whistle to call her over, and she has started coming right up to our door to get her cheerios, even Addi notices her when she is outside. Here is a picture of Addi up close and personal with Cheerio. Cheerio came inside the fenced in porch, and almost inside our house to get her meal. All tuckered out :)

I've been tagged...

All right, I've been photo tagged. I am supposed to take pictures of these few things just as they are, no cleaning, altering, or making adjustments to... so here goes...

(My new years resolution was to keep up on laundry so thank goodness I was caught up)

2. My closet

Wow, am I really that white or was it just the flash?

4. Kitchen Sink

5. Favorite Room (I couldn't decide between Addi's room and my room...so here is both)

6. Bathroom (I was only going to put the first picture in there of our guest bathroom, and forget about the other one, but what fun would that be? Just watch out for the second bathroom it sure is a mess!

Guest Bathroom

My bathroom....ahhhh!!!!

7. What your kids are doing right now.

Cute Addi sleeping with her little bum in the air.

I was also supposed to take a picture of my refrigerator and my favorite pair of shoes, but I forgot...really! Which is probably better for y'all anyways. I tag...Melissa, Shannon , Chelsey and Brittany.

Home For the Holidays

Appetizing eh? This is about the extent of my Christmas breakfast. Since Jacob and I had our own little Christmas before we went to Utah, I thought I would try and make something a little more special for breakfast.

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! We spent it in Utah with our families. The only bad thing about the entire trip was that it was waaaay to short! We loved every minute we had with family and loved how happy Addi was to be with family as well. Here are some pictures from our trip.

It started off with a big welcome at the airport. That was probably one of the highlights...seeing all our family for the first time in a long time. Thanks everyone who came to welcome us home.

Addi even got her first Birthday present a few hours early...thanks aunt Wendy!
We spent the first part of our trip at Jacob's parents house, where we had a blast. I don't have many pictures from there because of our lack of taking them, but Jacob's dad does, and we will have to get them from him. I do have a couple however, and this is one of my favorites. Katherine and Addi playing the piano together. Addi has always adored Addison since she was just itty bitty.

This picture was taken after my dad and Jacob decided to wrestle in the snow. What big kids :) It had already started to melt by the time we took this picture.

We had Addi's birthday party at Jacob's house, and this is the only picture that I have right now of it...sad I know, but more will be coming I promise. We do have pictures, just not with me right now. Addi's birthday was so much fun! She loved her presents, but most of all she loved her first bite of cake...she shoved that thing in as fast as possible, and still wanted more. I can't believe she is a year old...what a cutie!

The traditional Christmas Eve pajama picture. We spent Christmas Eve night with my family, and we had a blast. After we all opened our Christmas pajamas, we opened our family gift for the night which was the game Kragmortha. This is a hilarious game, and it was so much fun to play with the entire family. Another awesome part about this Christmas was that the entire family slept over and had Christmas morning together...EVERYONE...even Brittany who is 7 months pregnant, what a trooper!

Everyone entering in the family room to see what Santa brought this year.
Addi still trying to wake up.

This was a gift from Grandma and Grandpa to Addi sort of. When I was growing up, I loved to clean, in fact I even wanted to be a maid when I grew up. One year for Christmas I asked for a vaccuum, and that is what I got, so we are keepin' on with the tradition. Happy cleaning Addi :) I still love to clean...pathetic I know.

Fun with Addi's new toys!

What could this be?
Jacob the Horsey
Everyone loves Wendy!

We also took family pictures while we were there, here are a few from Wendy's camera. Natalie was our photographer, and I can't wait to see what shots she got, when we get them I will post some more. Thanks Nat!

We flew out of Jackson, Mississippi airport, (7 hours from where we live) so we had to get a picture of the sign. This might seem like a long drive to get to an airport, but it was fun...singing Christmas carols the whole way there and baby signing time on the way back (those CD's do wonders for a travel sick baby :)

This is a picture of Addi for the first time ever with Santa. Not a very good picture, but we will take it.

Putting a plug in there for this game...it is sooo much fun! It is called Scotland Yard, if you ever get a chance to play it...do it!

Merry Christmas!

Just a few pictures of us decorating the tree, plus a few more.

Addi has been teething and so she was up one very early morning before Jacob went to clinicals, and she was having a rough time, but when Jacob came out with his surgical cap on, she perked up. We put one on her too and she was just loving being like her daddy. (Oh and she eventually did get two teeth on the bottom...wahooo!)

She even kept it on for a while after Jacob left.
If you look closely in this picture, you can see Addi's little black eye. She has been standing up on everything lately, but this time the chair got her when her feet slipped out from underneath her :( It immediately swelled up and turned blue. It was a sad moment, but she cheered up pretty quickly. Addi's new favorite game is standing up on her bike/car and then letting go and seeing how long she can stand by herself...when she balances for a long time, she claps and we cheer. She is so funny when she does this, I think she will be walking here pretty soon.
