Home For the Holidays

Appetizing eh? This is about the extent of my Christmas breakfast. Since Jacob and I had our own little Christmas before we went to Utah, I thought I would try and make something a little more special for breakfast.

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! We spent it in Utah with our families. The only bad thing about the entire trip was that it was waaaay to short! We loved every minute we had with family and loved how happy Addi was to be with family as well. Here are some pictures from our trip.

It started off with a big welcome at the airport. That was probably one of the highlights...seeing all our family for the first time in a long time. Thanks everyone who came to welcome us home.

Addi even got her first Birthday present a few hours early...thanks aunt Wendy!
We spent the first part of our trip at Jacob's parents house, where we had a blast. I don't have many pictures from there because of our lack of taking them, but Jacob's dad does, and we will have to get them from him. I do have a couple however, and this is one of my favorites. Katherine and Addi playing the piano together. Addi has always adored Addison since she was just itty bitty.

This picture was taken after my dad and Jacob decided to wrestle in the snow. What big kids :) It had already started to melt by the time we took this picture.

We had Addi's birthday party at Jacob's house, and this is the only picture that I have right now of it...sad I know, but more will be coming I promise. We do have pictures, just not with me right now. Addi's birthday was so much fun! She loved her presents, but most of all she loved her first bite of cake...she shoved that thing in as fast as possible, and still wanted more. I can't believe she is a year old...what a cutie!

The traditional Christmas Eve pajama picture. We spent Christmas Eve night with my family, and we had a blast. After we all opened our Christmas pajamas, we opened our family gift for the night which was the game Kragmortha. This is a hilarious game, and it was so much fun to play with the entire family. Another awesome part about this Christmas was that the entire family slept over and had Christmas morning together...EVERYONE...even Brittany who is 7 months pregnant, what a trooper!

Everyone entering in the family room to see what Santa brought this year.
Addi still trying to wake up.

This was a gift from Grandma and Grandpa to Addi sort of. When I was growing up, I loved to clean, in fact I even wanted to be a maid when I grew up. One year for Christmas I asked for a vaccuum, and that is what I got, so we are keepin' on with the tradition. Happy cleaning Addi :) I still love to clean...pathetic I know.

Fun with Addi's new toys!

What could this be?
Jacob the Horsey
Everyone loves Wendy!

We also took family pictures while we were there, here are a few from Wendy's camera. Natalie was our photographer, and I can't wait to see what shots she got, when we get them I will post some more. Thanks Nat!

We flew out of Jackson, Mississippi airport, (7 hours from where we live) so we had to get a picture of the sign. This might seem like a long drive to get to an airport, but it was fun...singing Christmas carols the whole way there and baby signing time on the way back (those CD's do wonders for a travel sick baby :)

This is a picture of Addi for the first time ever with Santa. Not a very good picture, but we will take it.

Putting a plug in there for this game...it is sooo much fun! It is called Scotland Yard, if you ever get a chance to play it...do it!

Sounds like you had a nice Christmas. Your daughter makes the best faces for pictures. I bet she is a lot of fun to be around. I love the vacuum. You always have loved to clean, which I must say is a great quality in a roommate. :) Happy New Year!
