The story...
Kaden was born 5 days late on April 18. He weighed 8 lbs 8 oz and was 21 inches long.
Have you ever seen movies where women suddenly go into labor in the middle of the night? And have you ever thought... "that never happens"? I sure have! Well, no longer do I think that...
At about 1:30 am I woke up suddenly to very painful contractions that were about 30 seconds to 1 minute apart (I must add here that they didn't feel like normal contractions so I didn't want to go into the hospital right away) so after laboring at home for about 45 minutes, we called the Dr. and headed to the hospital. When we got there, I was an 8 and 2 hours one epidural and 4 pushes later our little Kaden was here.

Yay!!! He's here!!! I love the name! Congratulations to you guy's!! Our birth experience sounds the same, I woke up with contractions in the middle of the night too and labored quickly. It is hard to keep the blog updated when you have a newborn, but I hope you do! We love to see the pictures :-) Take care!
