Our holidays couldn't have started better. My parents came to visit us for a week during Thanksgiving. It was soooo nice to have them here. Addi still talks about them being here to this day. It came to a close WAY too fast, but we did manage to snap a few photos. Thank you so much for coming mom and dad! We love you and can't wait to see you again.
My still very in love, very wonderful parents :)
A trip to Florida wouldn't be complete without the classic Alligator picture :)
At the state park Addi found some fungus and thought it was brocolli. I don't blame her though, I think it looks a lot like brocolli too. :)

I love these next few photos. They make me realize how sweet the little things in life are.
Addi really bonded with my dad while he was here, and wanted to do everything with him. I think my dad ate every bit of it up. Here are just a few pictures to show just how much Addi adores her grandpa.
Turkey bowl!
Just a few more pictures of their trip :)
Grandma kissing it better (grandma's are good for that )
This picture makes me smile. Addi after sitting on some other trees that had branches sticking out like little benches asked if she could sit on this tree that was sticking straight up. So grandpa helped her sit on it, and she said "Look, my own car seat" It made us all laugh.
Grandma and Addi looking at the squirrel
Addi loved my parents glasses.
My mom being the creative and thoughtful person that she is, brought a little surprise for Addi when they got here. She called it the 'Addi bag'. Each day while my parents were here, and even a few days after they left, Addi got to pick a card with a letter on it, then inside the Addi bag was a present with a matching letter that she had to find, and that was the present she got to open that day. Addi caught on quick to this fun little game, and each night she would tell us the letter that she was going to pick for the next day. Then each morning she would remind us that we needed to open another present.
Thanks again mom and dad for coming! We love you!

Thanksgiving night we put up our Christmas tree and the holiday fun just kept on coming.
This is a picture of Addi in the stocking that they put her in, in the hospital when she was born. They grow so fast!

Oh Christmas tree!
(Addi is giving baby Jesus a hug)

Santa came to our ward party (you can see him in the background). Addi was so excited to see him until it was her turn to sit on his lap. (Picture coming soon)

We made a gingerbread house
I love these series of pictures...
Addi wore her new Christmas outfit from Grandma.
(she is holding the card she got from aunt Wendy, she took it with her everywhere that day)

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve, and I even cooked a ham (thanks mom and dad)
Addi snuck a piece of ham while I was taking the picture, silly girl

We opened our pajamas on Christmas eve. Addi loved her reindeer slippers!

This is Addi first thing Christmas morning.
What a sweet girl.

This was a little fishing puzzle with magnets. It is the same one the music leader uses in nursery. The first thing she did when she got one of the fish was flip it over and say 'popcorn' because she thought that they all would have primary songs on them. Needless to say, we ended up singing a few primary songs Christmas morning. So fun!

Happy little Addi on Christmas day.

In her own words..."I need to go grocery shoppin' "

Trying to get a drink out of her new kitchen sink :)

Sweet Addison

So excited for a piece of candy in her stocking

Addi cooked daddy dinner on Christmas in her new kitchen.
We feel so blessed to have had such a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas! It will definitely be an unforgettable holiday season for us!

She carried around my card? Really? Melt my heart!
Looks like Christmas was a success! The picture by the Christmas tree, she looks like a little thug. But we know she's not and it's actually pretty sweet that she is hugging the baby Jesus.
