Duck Poop

Today Jacob and I were talking and we had our porch door open because Addi loves to go outside and feed cheerio. However...instead of Addi feeding Cheerio, Cheerio fed Addi. We caught Addi eating her yucky ducky poop. It was all over her hands and mouth...disgusting!!!! When I went to get her she hurried and turned away so she could finish swallowing before I got it out of her mouth. I couldn't believe it...she liked the duck poop! DISGUSTING!!! We called poison control and they said that she should be fine, just give her lots of food and water! So if you ever run into this problem, be sure to give your kids lots of food and water :)

Here is Addi after we cleaned out her mouth...she went back to the door to look at what remained...silly kid!
These next three pictures are of Addi when we first moved to Florida! I can't believe how much she has grown since we have been here. Oh how the time flies! She just keeps getting cuter and funner every day.
Now on to pictures from the past week. Addi just playin' with her toys :) Thanks again Julie for all the toys...Addi loves them!

Bathtime fun...already trying to do some math.

Fun at the park!
This is a picture of the park that we go to, it is so beautiful! I love Florida for that reason...there are trees everywhere and it is just so green!

Swinging

Playing peek-a-boo

The Dinosaur or as Addi calls it...Roaaaarrrr!

Sliding!

Addi is definitely turning into her mom when it comes to vacuuming...When Jacob got the vacuum out, she had to get hers too :)

What do two Nurse Anesthetist grad students do when they aren't studying? They shock each other with some sort of instrument that they use at the hospital and slowly turn up the intensity. All I have to say is crazy! :
Just a video of Addi dancing with Jacob.

Valentine's Day and more

Jacob got his princesses this balloon for Valentine's Day, and Addi loved it! She walked around with it on Valentine's Day as well as the next day.

This is a picture of Addi playing peek-a-boo with the door. As soon as she opened the door to say pee-a-boo I snapped a picture.

Addi is into shoes these days, this picture was taken right before church. Her expression is kind of funny, but I told her to smile and she signed laugh...so here is Addi in the middle of laughing.
Me and my Valentine socks...thanks mom and dad.
Addi and her books. This is Addi signing book! These next few pictures are also of her signing, she was just reading me the book and telling me what was in there, I didn't prompt her at all.
Addi showing me her books!
Addi signing baby for the baby Jesus
Addi signing sleep because the baby Jesus is sleeping
Just cute Addi!

Pictures and such

Just some pictures of Addi :)
Lunch time!

Nap time!
Addi hardly ever cries these days, so I had to put this rare shot in there. Cute no matter what!
Fun with boxes!

These videos aren't much, but it is still fun to see Addi walking. I had another one of her laughing really hard, but it won't upload...sorry! Hope you enjoy!

Date Night...not for the calorie conscious.

Friday night is always our date night, and yesterday we ended up being very spontaneous. We couldn't decide where to eat, so Jacob pulled into Arb'ys and ordered one dollar item really quickly and said that will be all. I was really confused, and thought maybe we were just trying to be extremely frugal tonight, but with my stomach growling at me, I had to ask "can I order something?" Jacob just laughed and said that we were going to do an experiment tonight to test out all the dollar menu's around town, and decide what we like the best. I thought it sounded fun, so that is just what we did. Here are our seven restaurants (like I said, not for the calorie conscious), and what we ordered at each of them.
Burger King (Whopper Jr.)
Taco Bell (Big Taste Taco)
KFC (Snacker)
Wendy's (Chicken sandwich)
McDonald's (McChicken with cheese)
Arby's (Arby's melt)
Sonic (Frito Chili Wrap)

Our Favorite to Least Favorite

Jacob, Keli

McDonalds, Taco Bell

Taco Bell, Wendy's

Burger King, McDonald's

Wendy's, Burger King

Sonic, KFC

KFC, Arby's

Arby's, Sonic

Here are some other funny things we noticed on our very scientific experiment.
* Only Taco Bell serves their food in a plastic bag.
* Another reason we did this was because if we ever do go out to fast food, it is almost always Taco Bell. This just justified why we do go there.
*KFC is a chicken place, but their snacker was much more expensive than any other chicken sandwich, and it was a LOT smaller too.
*Even though we ordered dollar items at each restaurant, our totals came out different. $1.05 Burger King, Taco Bell, $1.07 Wendy's, the rest were $1.06 (Weird)
* We used only the spare change we could find in our wallets, pockets and car to purchase our meal for the evening.
*The total came to $9.07 (We had to get at least one dessert :))
We know we are a little funny some times, but next time you can't decide on what to do, try to be spontaneous and check out your local restaurants. :)

Pigtails, Bird catchers and more...

Just a few random pictures...
After each meal, we set Addi next to the sink to clean her up, and now she has decided to use it as her drinking fountain...what a funny girl.

I can finally give Addi pigtails...wahoo! I think she looks so much older with them, it is exciting to see that she is growing, but hard to know that she will never be the tiny baby she used to be.

I made mashed potatoes for dinner the other day, and Addi loved licking off the beaters when I was finished.

Addi loves her glow worm...she calls it her baby and carries it around with her rocking it in her arms and giving it hugs.
This is another picture of our bird Cheerio...we hope it isn't the last. The bird catchers came today and caged up a lot of the birds by our pond. Jacob and I searched the truck with all the birds, but didn't see her, so hopefully she escaped. We will have to see if she comes to get her cheerios tomorrow. This probably sounds funny, but I will be soooo sad if she is gone. I have a ceratin whistle to call her over, and she has started coming right up to our door to get her cheerios, even Addi notices her when she is outside. Here is a picture of Addi up close and personal with Cheerio. Cheerio came inside the fenced in porch, and almost inside our house to get her meal. All tuckered out :)
