Jacob's Birthday

Jacob made a hall this year...especially with the Texas gear.
The huge box is full of Henry Weinhart's root-beer (nectar of the God's
according to the Langston brothers)Jacob has only opened two of the 24
because he is saving them for such special occasions. Can't waste Henry's
on any casual celebration! I fear that we are going to have to have
twenty-four kids in order to be sure that there are enough "special"
occasions to pull out Henry's. :)

Halloween with our dear sisters

This is obviously from a while ago, but hey, pictures are always good, right? We had fun carving pumpkins with Wendy and Katherine. We also had an enjoyable dinner with pumpkin face stew and ghostly smoothies.

Island Park Adventure

This was our last little get-a-way before the baby babe comes along. We had a lot of fun and were way too silly for our own good. The highlights included a nice resort, Yellowstone (replete with tons of bison and elk, 2 coyotes, and 1 wolf), a fish playground, and hot chocolate galore. We LOVED it there!!

Our Safari Date Night

I know...it sounds kind of silly that two adults would be playing safari, but hey, we still feel like kids and it was fun! Jacob was the king of the jungle as his crown indicates, and was given the mighty toilet paper role binoculars to search out all the African Animals.
For dinner we made a spotted leopard (if you ever want to recreate it, just follow the steps in the pictures). We also had races with our sticky, stretchy animals. I was a monkey, and Jacob was an alligator. I lost, but it was only due to an injury to my monkey's tail. Anyway, this is just a glimpse into our crazy, weird side of life!

Our Rafting Adventure

This trip was a blast! In this picture I was riding bull when a huge wall of water knocked me back into the raft! It was nerve-racking, but thrilling at the same time
